Hello friends ,

                           I just wanted to share With you information about the examination of RBI Services board for the Post of Manager Civil, this is a Grade B Service and net monthly emoluments payable to these managers is about 55000 per month.

Today  26th April 2015 was the exam of Manager civil at RBI office located in Delhi near sansad marg.

RBI People have very good arrangement for examination,  around 20 candidates appeared at delhi centre  (Amazingly one guy turned out from IIT Kgp who happens to previously working at Coal india-These Guys are making it tough------ 

Let me give you guys some stats of this year

Eligibility   B.TECH/B.E. (Civil)

Experience Required   Minimum  3 Years

Max  Age   35  Years

No of Vacancies   this year 2  , 1 Gen, 1 SC

No of candidates appeared this Year all over India   213

Lat Year Cut Off   171   ( 49 In objective , 121 Obj+subjective, 171 final selected) Note Interview is of 35 Marks

Broadly the pattern is as follows

Objective     100 Marks

Subjective    100 Marks

Interview      35 Marks

Total            235 Marks

this is a good exam if you are having the requisite experience so you can try it next year.

Objective paper is not available on net although i am writing some questions asked this year so that you guys get some idea about the objective paper.  (50 Questions  2 marks each total 100 Marks with negative paper 1 marks per question will be deducted)

1.  What is moment of inertia of triangle (base b height h)  an axis parallel to base and passing thorough C.G.

2. Where is idukki arch dam located

3. If  Mach number is from 1 to 6  what kind of flow it is  (subsonic,supersonic or hypersonic)

4.What is deflection at centre of a simply supported beam a point load is acting at centre.

5. What is effective length of a column if one completely restrained and other end is hinged.

6. what is effective length of fillet weld.

7.What is discharge from a rectangular weir.

and so on , (obviously 4 options are provided in exam)
